How did you meet?

We met at a concert in college through mutual friends!

**Why Brookledge?**

We wanted to feel grounded on our wedding day and wanted the setting we chose to help us feel rooted and present. We also wanted a group of people to all be able to stay on site together! When we met Helen, and when Danielle saw the Camp Chapel, it was love at first sight :) When ya know, ya know!

How long have you and your significant other been together?

11 YEARS on January 26th!!! :)

Where did you go on your first date?

We got to know each other as friends a bit before going on a first official date! Our first official date was actually on Valentine's Day. Sam surprised me and took me to the Venetian Pools in Miami (we were living there at the time) and had secretly Facebook messaged my mom (we had only been dating for two weeks!) asking her what my favorite childhood meal was, and he cooked dinner for us!

What is your favorite thing about each other?

Sam: "She's so funny and fun to be around! She's so kind and such a nurturing plant mom, but also zesty!! She's organized and has her feet on the ground, and she's really good at advocating for herself and her people in a way that is really supportive for me."

Danielle: "I love that Sam is such a community builder. He's always trying to figure out ways to include every single person in every single activity so that everyone feels included. ....Even our dates :) LOL! He has a giant, compassionate heart and is so great at really, truly, deeply seeing people and making them feel seen and loved."
