How did you meet?

“We first crossed paths in the 6th grade. It wasn't until middle school, that we started getting closer. Our friendship really solidified during our freshman year of high school when we became close friends. Those early years laid the foundation for the deep bond we share today.”

“Brookledge instantly had a welcoming, familiar feel, like our family lake house. Being surrounded by nature in that open, outdoor setting resonated with our love of the outdoors. It provided the perfect free-spirited space to gather with all our favorite people and celebrate in a setting that felt like home.”

**What is your favorite thing to do together?**

“Our favorite thing to do together is going for walks with our dog Oliver. It's a simple activity, but we really enjoy getting some fresh air and exercise while spending quality time together with our pup.”

“What I admire most about Whitney is her unwavering dedication and compassion. Whether it's a task, hobby or personal relationship, she invests her whole heart, caring deeply about doing her best and making others feel valued.

Where did you go on your first date?

“I don't remember the specifics of our first date, but I do remember when Jamal first showed interest. It was the summer before senior year, and I had recently broken up with my boyfriend. Jamal offered to take me to Stewart's for milkshakes and to lend an ear as I dealt with the breakup. Not long after that, we realized there was a real connection between us and decided to give a relationship a try.”
