ABOUT AINSLEY’S ANGELS
Ainsley's Angels of America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit aimed at promoting inclusion for individuals with disabilities in all aspects of life. The goal is to create programs, environments and opportunities where people with disabilities can be active participants and thrive in places where they would be otherwise left on the sidelines to spectate.
In addition, we help to provide education and awareness across the country to help foster advocacy for people with all types of disabilities. Funds raised go directly to purchasing equipment (which is not covered by insurance) to allow for inclusion in everything from athletic events to days at the beach, or family hikes in the mountains. We believe that TOGETHER we are able to accomplish so much more than we ever could alone.

Better Together Book by Shaun Evans
Better Together: A Memoir of Persistence, Inclusion, and a Family’s Power to Overcome tells the inspiring true story of Nichole and Shaun Evans and their son, Shamus, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at one year old. Refusing to let the diagnosis define him, the Evans family embraced Shamus’s passion for running, first through a jogging stroller alongside his dad and ultimately through a bold dream to roll across America in his running chair. Partnering with Ainsley’s Angels of America, they embarked on a 3,205-mile journey from coast to coast, giving mobility chairs to children along the way and spreading a message of inclusion. Through injuries, challenges, and countless miles, the family discovered the strength of persistence, the generosity of strangers, and the joy of chasing big dreams together. ISBN: 978-1-64543-079-7
